(25-26) Theater Arts

Description

Advisor(s): Rachel Hawkins, MS/HS

This class requires a semester commitment. Students will produce and perform a chosen production for a live audience at the end of each semester. Each semester students will audition, be cast in a role, learn blocking, and memorize and rehearse lines and onstage movements. Students will also be required to collect and design props, set, costumes, makeup, and learn backstage set changes. Weekly classes are mainly a rehearsal of the current production. Students not interested in an onstage role are welcome to join Theater Arts as stage crew, assisting with lights, sound, and set. Expect to have a GREAT time!
