This class teaches foundational art concepts, theories, styles and techniques of a variety of media types.  Students will learn principles of art and design, critique, color theory, abstract, mixed media, charcoal drawing, painting, textile, sculpturing, portraiture, and styles including impressionism, pointillism and collage.  The year will end with the students organizing and presenting their own gallery display. CE
