ELEMENTARY BLOCK (Grades 2*- 5,) Wednesdays

The focus this year is on Ancient History. Students will learn through music, drama, literature, and art. Classes in these blocks may be taken as stand-alone classes. However, Elementary Music and Historical Theater must be taken together.

Music and Historical Theater (Katie Meinzinger)   

Ancient History will come alive as students prepare for plays about Greece, Persia, and Asia. Students will receive training in singing, dance, stage techniques, movement, and expression. CE

Ancient History (Katie Meinzinger)

Students will go on a journey back in time learning about ancient civilizations. They will do hands-on projects to learn geography, history, customs, art and games from these ancient cultures. The year will conclude with an “archaeological dig.” CE

Elementary Science: Astronomy (Sarah Morris)

This year students will explore the amazing features of our universe through hands-on projects in class and in at-home reading and activities. CE
